Family Fun with Homemade Play-Dough

If your kids are age appropriate, they can help you make it!!!

Mix together:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup salt
1 cup hot water
2 Tablespoons oil (coconut works well, just melt it first)

Knead all ingredients together, and have fun!

To add color, you can mix in beet juice or spinach juice powder with the water before mixing it in. This will keep for months when stored in the refrigerator. Just set it on the counter to warm to room temp before using.

Edible Peanut Butter Play-Dough

Mix together:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup nonfat dry milk
1 c confectioners sugar
3/4 c light corn syrup

Here is a link to another recipe we found which includes a video that walks you through how to make it!

All of these are non-toxic recipes that are not only safe for your little ones, but for the environment too!
Enjoy!
